Valley Forge --> The Encampment

This rendering of Washington's Headquarters was done in 1899.

Headquarters of Provost Guard, Valley Forge, Pa. This post card was published by I. H. Brendlinger Co. in Norristown, Pa. It is unclear when it was published but the stamp cost a penny.

The stable next to Washington's Headquarters was possibly used as a hospital during the Revolutionary War. It was later called the Carriage House and once was a museum.
