Baptist Convention Center "Holy Donut" on County Line Road - Route 23 Alternate

May 8, 1961 - Intersection of County Line Road and General Green Road; Colonial Village

There were at least four Roberts Schools. The first school was a log structure built by the Welsh in 1740 in Matthew Roberts Woods on what was then called State Road. It lasted 50 years and was replaced by this stone schoolhouse which stands today, on a plot of land donated by William Cleaver in 1790.

A view of the Upper Merion Swim Club on Brownlee Road near Belmont Elementary School. The pool opened in 1960 and was owned by Joe Volpe.
