Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel

Johnny Kamuca's Valley Forge Tavern, was located on 202 north,, just before South Gulph Road. The postcard reads "Intimate Fireside Dining"...Cocktails, Sandwiches, Luncheons...Dinners ('till 11 PM)...Late Suppers. This was the place to go after the Valley Forge Music Fair for a great late snack. The atmosphere was warm and inviting , and the open-faced steak sandwiches were the best! Dining there with my family was always a treat, and if you ever wanted to impress your date, that was the place to go .

Johnny's son, Juan Kamuca, tells me that his dad passed away about three years ago. He was the consumate restauranteur, and missed the business terribly. He had been away from the business for about 10 years at the time of his death.
